Yeah, right...the pictures included are after me trying to scrub with baking soda for half an hour and then boiling vinegar in it. Each pancake was about half brown, looking entirely done, while the other half was barely blond.We have an induction range, and an Le Creuset pan that doesn't suffer from the same problem, so I'm blaming the pan (we had a Farberware pan before this that also heated evenly on this same range). The pan has only been used with silicon utensils. Overall not impressed with the product and service. It is sturdy, heavy, and distributes heat evenly - all the things you expect from an excellent pan.
