Replaces CWTWB1U212, CWTWB1U331, GQ43VT11T, CWTWB1U345 KeylessOption Warranty Card included with each purchase Included programming instructions work like a charm.PROBLEM: When programming the 2nd remote, it apparently overwrites the 1st one, so the 1st one no longer works. Appears you can only have 1 remote programmed to work. So, why sell these in pairs?UPDATED: The instructions from the RemotesRemotes.com website has the following programming instructions:1. Turn ignition from Off to Run 8 times ending in Run (Do not start the car, run position is just before the vehicle will start Off is turned all the way back when the key can be removed from the ignition). Must be performed within 10 seconds. Locks will cycle signaling entering into programming mode. Keep foot off brake pedal.2. Press any button on the remote being programmed, locks cycle confirming programming. Repeat this step for any additional remotes.3. Turn key to off, locks cycle to end programming mode. What step 2 SHOULD say, per an email conversation with customer support, is:2. If programming 2 remotes, have both remotes present to be programmed AT THE SAME TIME. After entering programming mode via step 1, press any key on 1 remote; locks will cycle confirming programming. Within 20 seconds, press any key on the second remote. After several seconds, locks will cycle to confirm programming complete.Using THAT method, I was able to program both remotes. Finally. Purchased these remotes based on the high number of positive reviews and because they were inexpensive (so what did I have to lose) and if they did work it would be nice to have for my sons 2004 Ford Mustang. Got the remotes, read the instructions and then attempted to program them. The instructions indicated that I needed to cycle the ignition (with the key) from Off to On 8 times in 10 seconds and leave it in the On position the 8th time at which time the door locks would cycle letting me know that it was in the program mode. Once that happened I had 20 seconds to operate the locks with each remote which would program them. Sounded simple enough. Tried turning the ignition from Off to On 8 times as instructed keeping in mind that I only had 10 seconds to do so. Tried and nothing. Tried again and nothing. Tried a third, forth and fifth time – zilch. Was about to throw the remotes out and consider my $11 wasted but decided to give it one more shot but this time I wanted to try it going as fast as I could (about half the time it took the first five times) and bingo – the door locks operated just like they were supposed to. Grabbed the remotes and used each to operate the locks (they worked!) and now I have 2 operational remotes. For some reason there were comments about needing two ignition keys (both with chips) in order to make the remotes work. Not certain why this is necessary since getting into the programming mode requires only one key in the ignition but I did have the second key in my pocket. If the remotes do not work I suggest trying the process again but do it as quickly as possible rather than just trying to beat the 10 seconds suggested. I have a feeling that some cars have shorter programming times than indicated. BTW – contrary to some reviewers these remotes have good range. Was able to operate the doors from 50+ feet. These remotes worked as advertised and they came with pre-installed batteries as a bonus which saved me a trip to the store. Be aware that the instructions for your vehicle may vary. I used these for an Expedition and I had to use the process for an F250 truck and not that documented for an Expedition. I’m not sure if that applies for all, but that was the case for mine.If following the vendor instructions for Expedition doesn’t work for you, do this:1. Close all doors, then open your driver side door and press the Unlock button on the drivers door while it is open.2. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. The door locks will lock and unlock to confirm that you have entered programming mode(Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car. If the door locks do not cycle you should try it again but faster. If they still do not cycle, your vehicle may not have keyless entry)3. Within 8 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 5.4. Within 8 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 4. for all other remotes.5. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.Works great, as advertised and saved me the hassle from dealing with the dealer. What’s not to like? So let me first start out by saying that these fobs perform exactly how described. I had heard that there may be an issue with distance concerning these fobs, but I have no problem with mine. I can make the alarm go off while in my house, about 30 feet away. I haven’t tried any further than that yet. What impressed me most, and the reason I am writing a comment concerning these replacement fobs, is the instructions. While 99% of the people on the internet were saying that I needed to turn the key 8 times to program the fob, the instruction were correct that I should turn the key four times – and then set it to the off position. This is obviously just for my vehicle, yours is likely different. The point is that the makers of these fob really did their research before creating the instruction and should be commended for that.
